Designed to be light and enjoyable, it allows you to explore Gunung Leuser National Park without steep climbs or exhausting walks, while still connecting deeply with nature.
As you wander through the forest, you’ll discover a rich variety of tropical plants, towering ancient trees, and fascinating insects. With a bit of luck, you may even spot the iconic Sumatran orangutan along with other local wildlife living freely in their natural habitat.

This trek is available in the morning or afternoon (latest start at 2:00 PM). For the best wildlife encounters—especially orangutans—we highly recommend an early start around 9:00 AM, when the jungle is calm and full of life.
